So it's been a while.

Hello internet!
I haven't done anything with this blog in a long, long time! Figured I'd give it another shot and kind of show/explain why I haven't been doing anything on here. It wasn't long after I got setup in my apartment that I had to deploy to Kyrgyzstan. It wasn't as bad as many deployments, but it was still a lot of work and very long hours! Needless to say I'm glad it's over with. Since I've been back I've kind of bounced around from gaming to spending time with my girlfriend. Finding a balance can be hard to do. All in all a good time.

Now on to what I've really taken an interest in as of lately (the past 4 months or so) flying helicopters! It's pretty damn challenging, but it's also very rewarding when you get things right. At this point I have about 14 hours. I still have a long ways to go. 40 hours are needed for a private license. Although, typically more hours are needed to get your skills in line. Everyone is different. Some take 40 hours others may take 60 or more hours before they are ready for their checkride. Did a little flying today without the doors. Got to love Spring. Here are a couple pics from the cart!
